For golf lovers, Meyrick Park is one place you must go to as it is located in one of the most beautiful locations in nearby Bournemouth. Since it was established in 1894, it has never lost its charm and still holds it up to this day. The Meyrick Park golf course is an 18-hole golf course that is located in 120 acres of stunning parkland in the middle of Bournemouth. Spend some time during your Dorset holidays hitting some balls in these tree-lined fairways with valleys and hills. Whether you are an amateur or professional golfer, you will enjoy a challenging golf game. If you want to practice your skills, Meyrick Park has a practice area and some putting greens that you can try out too. Before heading back to your Dorset holiday cottages, you can go to the club house and try out the treatment rooms, swimming pool and restaurant or buy some stuff at its club shop.

The Golf Club was founded in 1896 and to this day, continues to hold a reputation for impressing golfers. When you play a round of golf, you are also treated to a stunning sweeping 360-degree view of Weymouth, Dorchester and Portland since it is situated on chalk downland.
